چکیده
The use of petroleum-based plastics has raised environmental issues as more plastic waste enters and accumulates in the environment. It led to development biodegradable plastics. Starch is one potential materials make plastic, but starch-based poor mechanical strength. Blending starch with poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) lignin expected improve properties plastic. Biodegradable films from PVA/starch/lignin blends glycerol a plasticizer were prepared using an internal mixer for compounding hot press molding machine film making. percentage (2-10%), (25-65%), mixing temperature (190-230 oC) varied according three levels Box-Behnken design. ANOVA evaluation revealed that had most significant effect on film. Then, models estimation tensile strength, elongation at break, tear resistance developed. As expected, satisfactorily predict all input variables response variables. optimum conditions preparing acquired equations, namely 197.6 oC temperature, 10% lignin, 45.1% glycerol. possessed strength 8.46 ± 1.08 MPa, break 139.00 8.59%, 69.50 2.50 N/mm. These values are good agreement predicted values. Doi: 10.28991/ESJ-2022-06-02-03 Full Text: PDF

Photocatalytic Removal of Amaranth Optimization Using Response Surface Methodology
Since Amaranth (AM) is one of the dye compounds which is harmful to human’s life its removal from industrial waste water would reduce their environmental impact and health effect. Copper nanoparticle (CuNP) is a simple and eco-friendly material which can be used to remove this pollutant. In this paper, copper nanoparticles were synthesized, for removal of AM dye. The experiments were designed b...

متن کاملOptimization and Modeling of CuOx/OMWNT’s for Catalytic Reduction of Nitrogen Oxides by Response Surface Methodology
A series of copper oxide (CuOx) catalysts supported by oxidized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (OMWNT’s) were prepared by the wet impregnation method for the low temperature (200 °C) selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx) using NH3 as a reductant agent in the presence of excess oxygen. These catalysts were characterized by FTIR, XRD, SEM-EDS, and H2-TPR meth...
